Current Studies
Hypertension
- You are 18 to 75 years old
- You have been diagnosed with high blood pressure
- You take 0–2 blood pressure medications
- You have also been diagnosed with high cholesterol
- You are currently on a stable statin medication
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- You have been diagnosed with COPD (chronic bronchitis or emphysema)
- You continue to have breathing symptoms or flare-ups despite treatment
- You've had at least one COPD flare-up in the past year
- You are currently using maintenance inhaler therapy
COPD with a History of Smoking
- You have been diagnosed with COPD
- You currently smoke or have a history of cigarette smoking
- You continue to have symptoms despite inhaler treatment
- You are an adult able to attend study visits
Obesity w/ Diabetes (Type 2)
- You are 18 to 70 years old
- You have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
- You are currently taking 1–3 diabetes medications (such as metformin or similar)
- Your A1C is between 7.5% and 10.5%
- Your BMI is 32 or below
Type 2 Diabetes
- You have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
- You are overweight or obese
- Your blood sugar remains above goal despite treatment
- Your weight has been relatively stable over the past few months
- You are on stable diabetes treatment
Hypertension with Cholesterol
- You are 18 to 75 years old
- You've been diagnosed with high blood pressure
- You take 0–2 blood pressure medications
- You've also been diagnosed with high cholesterol
- You are currently on a stable statin medication
