Current Studies

Hypertension

You may qualify if:

You are 18 to 75 years old

You have been diagnosed with high blood pressure (either controlled or uncontrolled with medication)

You take 0–2 blood pressure medications

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

You may qualify if:

You have been diagnosed with COPD (chronic bronchitis or emphysema)

You continue to have breathing symptoms or flare-ups despite treatment

You've had at least one COPD flare-up in the past year

You are currently using maintenance inhaler therapy

COPD with a history of smoking

You may qualify if:

You have been diagnosed with COPD

You currently smoke or have a history of cigarette smoking

You continue to have symptoms despite inhaler treatment

You are an adult able to attend study visits

Obesity w/ Diabetes

(Type 2)

You may qualify if:

You are 18 to 70 years old

You have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes

You are currently taking 1–3 diabetes medications (such as metformin or similar)

Your A1C is between 7.5% and 10.5%

Your BMI is 32 or below

Type 2 Diabetes

You may qualify if:

You have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes

You are overweight or obese

Your blood sugar remains above goal despite treatment

Your weight has been relatively stable over the past few months

You are on stable diabetes treatment

Hypertension with Cholesterol

You may qualify if:

You are 18 to 75 years old

You’ve been diagnosed with high blood pressure

You take 0–2 blood pressure medications

You’ve also been diagnosed with high cholesterol

You are currently on a stable statin medication
